The Sumpot water spray retort system is equipped with an upper preheating tank. Water is heated to the sterilization temperature before being sprayed onto the product. The hot water is circulated through a heat exchanger to sterilize and cool the product. This system is suitable for sterilizing products requiring an initial temperature above 60°C or a rapid temperature increase to protect the product.

Operation Principle:

The Sumpot water spray retort with a preheating tank is equipped with water spray nozzles, a heat exchanger, and a powerful circulation pump.

Water Filling and Preheating Stage: Treated water (RO or De-ionized) is added to the upper tank, where it is heated to the sterilization temperature.
Sterilization Stage: At the start of the process, hot water from the upper tank is transferred to the retort chamber below to rapidly heat the product. The circulation pump transfers water from the retort chamber through the heat exchanger and sprays it onto the product for sterilization. The preheating tank saves time and energy by evenly distributing heat among the products.
Cooling Stage: The circulation pump passes water through the heat exchanger, cooling all products in the retort chamber uniformly. After the cooling process, the water can be pumped back to the upper tank for reuse.

Indirect heating and cooling ensure even temperature distribution; treated cooling water reduces the risk of secondary contamination. The sterilized product maintains high quality with improved flavor and appearance.

Without rubber gaskets for sealing, there are no concerns about gasket aging. This fully welded plate heat exchanger is also notable for its reliable durability, compact structure, and minimal fouling.
Ergonomic Design: The new generation sterilizer control panel with a Siemens touch screen from Germany is conveniently positioned for easy operation and observation. The operating status of the retort is clearly displayed in animation format on the touch screen, providing an overview of the process and facilitating easy system control by the operator.
Premium Quality: The Sumpot retort system features excellent insulation due to a 5 cm thick layer of lightweight, low thermal conductivity insulation material covering the exterior, preventing heat loss while maintaining high temperature uniformity and stability inside the chamber. This significantly reduces energy consumption and enhances operational safety.
