Fluorescence microscopes are used in biological and medical applications to observe specific cell components and live tissues with the aid of fluorescent dyes. One or more fluorescent dyes are applied to the sample. Upon excitation with light, the dye absorbs the energy and emits observable fluorescence light.

Experts can distinguish tumor cells from other cells, monitor biological processes, or detect the presence or absence of antibodies, etc.

The Oxion fluorescence microscope is equipped with a 100W mercury vapor lamp. The slider can accommodate up to 4 fluorescence filter cubes.

The FluoLED model features a 455 nm LED light source and a filter set, specially developed for rapid and effective tuberculosis detection using Auramine-O fluorescent dye. Other FluoLED filters are also available as options.

The optical system is treated with anti-fungal coating and anti-reflective coating for maximum optical uniformity.

• Eyepiece: HWF 10x, wide field of view 22 mm. The eyepiece is securely locked on the observation head.

• Diopter Adjustment: ±5 diopters on both eyepieces.
